Mobile Agent Application

A Mobile Agent application using JINI framework. Developed agents for Printer, Hard Disk, Camera, e-mail and Remote Shell services, which allows instance management and usage of these devices when they hook on to the network. This work been published in NCC2000 conducted by IIT (http://www-unix.ecs.umass.edu/~ahaneef/publications/papers/AladdinNCC2K.pdf)

Enterprise Mobile Intranet w/ EAI

This solution incorporated the need to build a portal that which could integrate with an existing Intranet and Legacy Systems. The clients for the intranets could be a Web Browser and any Mobile Device.

Technologies Involved:
Java (Server): Built a Multi Threaded Server (to constantly get the data feeds), Transaction Based Database Pool (for optimal access to the database), XML / XSLT (for any transformations to convert data to: HTTP / PDF etc) XML / XSLT for Presentation Purposes on the web based solution. Java (J2ME): For client side presentations on mobile devices. (CE.NET based work is expected to begin soon) Commonly used design patters derived from best practices from the industry.
