Client required the ability to sell tickets via the Internet and mobile phones through value added partnerships with mobile service providers and needed a SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) to seamlessly integrate with its partners and allow them access to their ticketing infrastructure. System includes:

• Ability to integrate with many types of mobile phones
• XML interface for the partners to interact with Indian Railways as a business partner
• Making available to partners Fare, ticket availability, and booking data
• Ability to collect online payment through interfaces with 20 plus banks
• SMS alerts on ticket status updates to consumers
• Automatic post transaction financial settlement between the Railways and its partners
